To prepare the appropriate NEPA documentation for a shoreline stabilization project in NJ. Completed an EA and BA, consulted and provided expertise to all federal agencies involoved. Conducted meetings for stakeholders and agencies.

US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center
Endangered Bat Inventory and Research Project Methods: Workplan development, site and literature research, project design, survey and capture, telemetry and tracking, data collection and analysis, project evaluation. Results: Development of radio telemetry data and maps for incorporation into a Geographic Information System at Fort Story and Fort Eustis, Virginia. Creation of new conservation data layer for Threatened and Endangered Species. Provided data on movement and locations of rare species as well as recommendations to integrate proactive management into installation operations.

US Army Ft. Lee Transportation Center
US Army Transportation Center Hunting Management Plan and Program Development of a wildlife management plan to reduce nuisance populations of wildlife. Liaison for branch operations coordination and program integration. Research, inventory and developed management recommendations. US Army 1998.

US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center
US Army Transportation Center Compliance Management Plan. Endangered Species Management Plans to comply with Federal and State regulations while insuring minimal impact to airfield operations. Developed and delivered compliance reports which inventoried and identified installation operations impacting and impacted by rare species. Coordinated with appropriate regulatory agencies and divisions for approval of plans and compliance status. 1999

US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center
US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center Natural Resource Inventory and Management Conservation and Natural Resource Law Enforcement Training courses offered to Military Police and Chief Judge Advocate office staff from regional U S Army Bases. TCI provided the expertise and products and developed customized one day training courses that were conducted in 1999 and 2000. Methods: Met with client and stakeholders to identify needs, expectations, goals, objectives for the training course. Researched conservation, environmental, and natural resource current and historical law, regulations, policies. Developed a customized curriculum to address customer needs. Compiled relevant information and designed delivery and logistics format. Assembled course materials and presentation equipment. Assembled network of experts and choose team. Prepared marketing and advertising information. Presented courses. Evaluated courses. Delivered course summary, notes and resource information to client.

US Department of Interior, US Fish and Wildlife Service- began 1995- present
US Fish and Wildlife Service- Meeting Facilitation and Management Services Organized and Conducted meetings to present state of the art status and develop management consensus on numerous organizational and administrative issues. Methods: Coordinated with client to establish needs, goals and objectives, and resources available and needed. Suggested options for efficient and effective accomplishment of goals. Developed agenda and participant list. Researched available resources and current state of art knowledge on subject. Assembled AV and instructional materials and equipment. Networked with other experts to assemble customized instructional team. Developed curriculum and evaluations. Conducted training and workshops. Facilitated and recorded information presented and discussed on computer, overheads, flip charts, etc. Evaluated course and tallied evaluation forms. Presented a report to client with all materials and information recorded.

Strategic Planning for ES of VA Chamber of Commerce- 2001- ongoing
Organized and conducted a strategic planning retreat and workshop for the Board of Directors of VA ES Chamber of Commerce. Methods: Met with stakeholders and clients to establish goals and objectives for meeting. Developed agenda, format and participant list. Researched current and historical documents and resources. Conducted workshop which produced a prioritized list of goals, objectives and strategies for accomplishment in 1 and 5 year increments. Presented results in PowerPoint presentation to membership and board. Established a revision and evaluation system and set dates for next session. Tasks and strategies addressed items such as ecotourism and impacts on natural resources.

New Jersey's Beach Nesting Bird Workshop, Rutgers University, 1 day- fall 1999
Coordinated and facilitated a one day workshop on the status of NJ's beach nesting birds and developed consensus on multidisciplinary management actions to be taken. Met with client and stakeholders to identify issues and goals for the workshop. Identified topics, expertise, participants, available resources necessary for a successful training. Developed agenda and customized topics and format. Facilitated workshop to keep in track, focus and on time. Provided discussion and question time. Resulted in a plan for management action as well as a coalition for conservation of these important species. Resulted in refinement of knowledge of current status and distribution, sharing of management and research techniques and issues. Provided expertise and materials on current knowledge of conservation techniques and issues.

US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center
US Army Ft. Eustis Transportation Center Natural Resource Inventory and Management. Conducted a floral survey of 2 DOD Army Installations and Developed a Herbarium. Inventoried the installation's flora and compiled database and catalogue of all facility vegetative resources. Delivered training and database to interdisciplinary facility staff for maximum integration of product and status information and management on the facilities. Created GIS data layers and maps to integrate into the Army's GIS system, database, INRMP, Master plan and Database. Coordinated closely with GIS DOD staff to create compatible layer and format for inclusion by DOD. GPS'd each collection site. Utilized GIS, maps and photos to select collection and survey sites. Design collection strategy and plot maps for report and presentation. 1998-2001

Endangered Shorebird Distribution & Productivity Surveys- VA Barrier Islands
Utilized DOQQ's, LIDAR, Aerial Photos, maps, etc. to select sites and design project survey area. Conducted survey, GPS locations of T & E species and collected attributes for each record. Created database, analyzed data, produced GIS maps and report with compiled data and analysis of distribution and ecological and population data. VA Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries - 1996 - 2001
